英文如何形容很「膩」

太油、太甜、太多？好像都不太一樣喔

上週美國多處熱浪（heat wave），

多補充水分之外最喜歡的就是清爽的料理😋，

同學問：「很膩的英文怎麼說呢？」

今天來解答！

吃太多吃到膩 🐷

1. I always order the same food here. I am starting to get bored of it.

2. The Italian restaurant offers free bread. I ate so much that I got sick of it.

💡你知道嗎？很多不同價位的義大利餐廳都會提供免費吃到飽餐包，沾新鮮橄欖油。其實是蠻清爽的地中海型飲食！

很油膩，需要清爽口感 🍕🍗

1. The lobster pie has so much butter that it is just greasy/oily to me. 油油的 adj.

2. My husband likes pork belly¹ but sometimes I find it too fatty. 太肥太油 adj.

3. You can put a dash² of lemon juice to cut through the grease. 減輕油膩感

4. All the fried chicken makes me want to have something refreshing now. 清爽的

台灣常見減輕油膩感的飲料是綠茶，在美國許多人喜歡 lemonade（檸檬汁飲料）、seltzer（氣泡飲料或氣泡水）等 bubbly drinks 有氣泡的東西。

甜滋滋的好膩 🎂🍫

1. I can’t stand³ the sugary dinks from Starbucks. 太多糖的 adj.

2. My dad has been avoiding sweet foods since he got diabetes⁴. 甜的

In Taiwan, it is a compliment⁵ to say that the dessert is not too sweet. 但是在美國很多人會覺得不甜就不是甜點！

重頭戲兩個字：decadent / rich

兩字都可以用來形容口感上的膩或是濃郁感，中性的字看前後文判斷好壞

• The cheese cake is so decadent / rich that I can only have once slice. 這起司蛋糕濃郁到我只能吃一片。

• I enjoy the rich and creamy New England clam chowder, as opposed to the light and soupy New York clam chowder. 我很喜歡新英格蘭濃郁又滑順的蛤離巧達濃湯，而不是湯湯水水的紐約式巧達濃湯。

不知道 chowder 巧達原來有不同種？快用圖片搜尋 New England chowder vs. New York chowder 就會看到答案了。我私心喜歡 rich & creamy 的湯，適合冷天氣！ 😋
